Consistent brain training is a part of all we do whether we are teaching a child to talk to the first time, address the patterns and placement for speech sounds or creating new neural connections to develop the auditory processing pathway which is all brain-related.
Brain training exercises are critical in creating new pathways so that skills such as phoneme (sound) recognition, reading, spelling, and learning language and new vocabulary become automated.
Early intervention is key to establishing new brain connections, however, there are many studies that also prove that the brain can adapt and change at any age and stage of life. Even those who have experienced brain injuries (accidents, falls, stroke) benefit from training and re-training the brain.
Some of the programs we offer are:
- Remote Training – Self-Directed (on own, monitored by clinician)
- Programming that can be completed on a device from your own home. Various activities can be assigned so that they are completed from the comfort of your own home but are monitored through the clinician dashboard to determine the rate of progress.
- Remote Therapy – meeting online for virtual sessions with a clinician, one-on-one
- In-person Therapy – meeting in clinic for sessions with a clinician, one-on-one.
