There are many areas that constitute speech, language and overall communication delays. Areas of articulation (sound clarity and pronunciation), delayed language development, grammar errors, voice disorders, dysfluency (stuttering), apraxia/motor speech disorders, augmentative and alternative communication strategies (AAC) and programming of devices and technology for those that are non-verbal are among a few. Reading disabilities which require reading and written language intervention also play a part in the interventions provided.
